Rite Aid Trip 2/24/13

So my boyfriend wants to learn how to coupon like me, finally! We watched extreme couponing together and since that episode the other day (it was a re-run, we watched a bunch - some kind of mini marathon? lol) he has been set that he is going to learn!

He started with free samples yesterday too... lol he makes me laugh!

So to start him off I wanted him to pick a store and work on that one first. I got us two envelopes (one for each of us) and gave each of us coupons to start.

Here is our multiple shopping trips condensed:

(4) Nivea lip balm @ 2/$3     -$3 off 2  (x2 of them)

Paid about ~$7.25 for everything (tax and mainly the vitamins)
Got back $2.99 +up (total of two)

(1) Feria hair color clearance @ $5.24  - $2 off in ad & $2 off any coup

(1) Preference hair color clearance @ $2.44  - $2 off in ad & $3 off any coup

(2) Clairol Hair color clearance @ $1.60 each  -$2 coup

(2) Suave shampoo clearance @ $1.34    - $1 off wyb 2   (counts towards $5 +up)

Got back:

$3 bandaid neosporin +up  (x2 of them)

$2 clairol +up  (x3 of them) (I am guessing I got three because the cashier scanned another one in by accident?)

& $2.68 towards my axe/tresseme/suave deal! 

Pretty successful trip I would say!! Paid a little more then I meant to, but that is why we roll our money over, to get more... I just was being impatient and couldn't wait the extra day to roll... ahhh!

Love ketchup? Head to coupons.target.com and print out the $2 coupon for Heinz 38oz ketchup. At my store they were only $2.24 (ymmv)

Palmolive Fresh Infusions REVIEW

Hello! Influenster.com sent me 3 bottles of the new Palmolive Fresh Infusions dish detergent to try FOR FREE. And sent me several $1.50 off a bottle (if you would like one, add a comment). The first bottle I tried was the Lemon & Thyme, the smell was great! I am on to to ginger white tea one now, not too crazy on the smell, but it gets the job done! I let my mother smell them all and she liked all the scents, couldn't choose which one she wanted to try, so I probably will let her have the rest of this bottle, because I cannot wait to try to Lime Basil one!!!

Join Influenster! You will not regret this decision, you will be so happy you did! I love testing products and giving my opinion. Their site is influenster.com - so easy!

Now I haven't found this in many stores, but WalMart definitely does carry it and some people say they found it at Target too. I am going to go look for it this week - will post an update when I find it and prices, although they are saying it retails for $2.99 for a 16 fl oz bottle.

I was always a Dawn girl, so when I tried this I had low expectations, but it opened my eyes that there are detergents that work just as well, if not better, out in the world. So happy!
