CoverGirl Natureluxe : BzzAgent Campaign Review (Edited on 4/29/11)
I am a BzzAgent (if you aren't go to bzzagent.com and join, it is SO worth it!).
Anyways, I was selected to try out the new CoverGirl Natureluxe foundation and lip balm.
The foundation color I chose to try was flax #310 (I am very fair skinned!) and the lip balm they gave me was Spice.
The lip balm looks really nice! It feels like I am wearing lip gloss though and it kind of rubs off a little bit everytime I take a sip of my drink. That really is the only bad thing. It is just a little bit though, not a lot, and the color still looks good. Boy I was wrong! That lip balm comes off sooo fast! Yikes! =O
The foundation doesn't look cake-y. lol. It feels really smooth when I put it on, and it blends real nice with my skin. It covers pretty nicely, which I ALWAYS have a problem in finding. I am going to keep using and see if it keeps living up to this =)
My overall opinion is that its a lot better than products I have used in the past, such as CoverGirl TruBlend foundation. I definitely prefer this over that foundation and will probably throw that out.
The lip balm is not that great. It came off REALLY fast. I definitely am going to stick with Maybelline's 24 hour Super Stay. It so far, has NOT been beaten, and does not come off at all! I love love it!

So I have been trying the CoverGirl Natureluxe foundation. I have to applaud it, its really nice and smooth when you put it on. I am very light skinned, so it is hard to find something that actually covers things and acts as a foundation for me and not look like its just caked on. I can honestly say this does the trick, and I can keep touching my face without it getting all oily, which was really nice! (My face gets oily really fast so I really liked that!)
The spice lip balm I was given however, failed my test. It smelled like lipstick, which I could live with because it didn't have that strong lipstick smell. But, it started coming off on my fingers and on my drinking glasses. Then all of a sudden I look in the mirror a couple hours later - GONE! Very disappointing. I do NOT recommend this lip balm, unless you want to keep reapplying. It feels like you are wearing lip gloss, but it comes off like cheap lipstick. Not my cup of tea.
Overall I gave it a 3 because of the foundation, the only thing that saved this line from CoverGirl. Hopefully they come out with something soon that saves this horrendous move!!

Aquolina "Pink Sugar" Perfume
I received a sample of this from Sephora, so of course I had to try it!
It smells really good! Like a really nice sweet sugary smell! Not like you are wearing candy, but a refreshing smell. I definitely have to stop at Ulta on my trips today (since I am heading to The Christmas Tree Shops) to see if Ulta is carrying it. It almost reminds me of "Circus" by Britney Spears.
I like these kind of bright, sugary, refreshing smells. It just really wakes me up and makes me fall in love!
Grab a sample and tell me what you think, or just stop in at your local beauty store and grab a spritz! I want to hear your opinions!!
